EDITORIAL / ABOUT
About KPV Chemical.
An independent editorial project that reads the KPV literature straight and marks where it stops.
What This Site Is
KPV Chemical is an independent editorial project that publishes summaries of the peer-reviewed research literature on the KPV peptide — the C-terminal tripeptide (lysine-proline-valine) of alpha-MSH. We are not a clinic. We do not employ clinicians and we do not provide medical advice. We do not manufacture, sell, or distribute any product. Our work is editorial commentary on publicly available science.
The "chemical" in the name is editorial framing, not a claim about services. KPV is sold by suppliers as a research chemical for laboratory use, and this site occupies the position of a research console reading that record — a place to scan what the studies established, what the mechanism is, and where the human data run out. It is not a chemical supplier, a pharmacy, or a storefront.
How We Handle Sources
Every quantitative claim on this site — a concentration, a percentage, a model, an outcome — maps to a numbered citation in our references, drawn from the published literature: PubMed-indexed studies, peer-reviewed journals, and review articles. Regulatory statements draw from an audited reference grounded in FDA primary sources.
We take identifier accuracy seriously because the KPV corner of the web does not. Secondary aggregators routinely transpose this peptide's PMIDs and DOIs; we verified each one at the source. Where the evidence is preclinical, we say preclinical. Where there are no human data, we say so on the page rather than implying a clinical result the literature has not produced.
What We Don't Do
We do not recommend doses, suggest protocols, or tell anyone to take anything. We describe what was administered to which species, at which concentration, by which route, and what was measured. We do not sell KPV, link to vendors, or quote prices. We do not present KPV as a treatment, and we do not predict regulatory outcomes — including the result of the FDA advisory-committee meeting at which KPV is scheduled for discussion. This is a reading of the science, kept honest about its limits.
